Agents will be required to use the Property Insurance Clearinghouse with EZLynx to submit applicable new-business risks effective April 1, 2025, or later through PolicyCenter@.
When certain changes are created for applications or quotes with an effective date of March 1, 2025, or later using PolicyCenter (see below), you must go back to EZLynx to update the quote.
Once the new-business application with a March 1, 2025, effective date or later is initiated in PolicyCenter, agents must complete the Replacement Cost Estimate (RCE) for HO-3, DP-1-D, and DP-3-D policy types. If the RCE results in a change to the Coverage A value in PolicyCenter by more than 20%, the agent will be required to return to EZLynx and quote the comparable coverage amount.
Additionally, you will be required to return to EZLynx and amend the quote for changes to:
- Coverage A value exceeding 20% of the original quote
- Coverage C value exceeding 20% of the original quote
- All Other Perils (AOP) Deductible
- Hurricane Deductible
- Ordinance and Law value
- Vandalism and Malicious Mischief value
- Any changes to wind loss mitigation credits
In EZLynx, you can access the existing quote to update the coverages. You are not required to restart the quote, but once directed back to EZLynx, you will receive a new quote ID. Use the new ID to resubmit the quote. Do not use the old submission in PolicyCenter.
Note: You can continue to create quick quotes in PolicyCenter. A message on the Policy Type Questions screen will instruct you to validate eligibility for coverage via EZLynx before initiating a new-business application.
Upcoming Training
Upcoming training in March will provide additional details about EZLynx, including how to request an override. Representatives from Citizens and Applied Systems will conduct free webinars in which we will present the upcoming enhancements to streamline your new-business submissions through PolicyCenter to meet eligibility requirements. You may register now for the training.
